 He was born in Rouskey, Co Tyrone.
 He was educated in St Columb's College, Derry,
 St Patrick's College, Maynooth, and the
 Pontifical Irish College in Rome.

at St Patrick's College, Maynooth, a position he held until he retired in 1996.)


Monsignor Devlin  said he was sure that Seamus wanted
a northern voice to be heard the voice amongst the bushes
He called us to sit with Jesus for a while and contemplate
all the love beauty and power of the man from Galilee
