Friends Faces

In your face I see the beauty of love
unfolding in your happy wrinkles
your smile is real  never posed
love surrounds your children smile
you have come home to yourself
put on a bit of fat home cooked
the search is over you have found
the love you needed to keep you
sane in this mad world of broken
hearted you found the love of a
good woman or a good man

Glorious Spring

Daffodils are dancing down down my driveway
Daisies spread across the lawn and dandelions
Are the biggest I have ever seen before ever
Spring is coming in with all the glory of nature
My heart soars with every bird note that I hear
The ground is still wet with the winter rain but
Oh the little birds are singing with my hens laying
Harriet gave birth to the sweetest little ram ever
Who jumps with such joy and glee in circles of
Mirth as if he alone knows the secret of happiness
Green ness unfolds all around and my heart unfolds
From winter sadness and memories of the  drowned
Such a season is this April like no more I have known
